Educating people by providing them access to mental health training courses and encouraging people to be open about mental illness if they want to help to break that taboo that many still see it as.

A workplace that ensures the mental wellbeing of staff is important. Supporting staff and making adaptations that can help them such as flexible working patterns can make a huge difference, and this can then mean that the workplace is a happier one overall, and the productivity is better.

Having someone on hand who can provide support is also helpful. This could be a manager or a HR representative. Having someone that people know they can go to if they need to makes a big difference.
