The stories that have popularized Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook are here to stay. They have become a new visual format for counting information, which above all is squeezing the media to tell news.
And because the media like that way of telling the news, Google has not remained quiet and has presented its own open format to show stories: the new AMP Stories.
AMP Stories
The AMP Project wants to offer content editors a new format so that they can offer news and information as visually rich stories on mobile devices.
With the new AMP Stories, the media will be able to capture the attention of its readers with small stories that summarize the news accompanied by images, videos, music and graphics.
The AMP Stories format is based on the technical infrastructure of AMP to provide a quick experience and editors can add them to their website as a component in HTML.

Google is testing the new AMP Stories with a group of publishers to create this new format. This format offers professionals pre-established but flexible design templates for the creation of stories.
So you can try the new AMP Stories
The new AMP Stories are integrated into Google Search. When you search for a newspaper, blog or media you can see among its results a new section called Visual Stories that will show the stories related to that news or that medium.
The AMP Stories are still in their testing phase but from now on we can test it by entering g.co/ampstories . To find the stories we have to find the name of one of the editors involved in the project: CNN, Conde Nast, Hearst, Mashable, Meredith, Mic, Vox Media and The Washington Post.
